How easy is it to design your own carpet? Step #1: Put your design (or your kid’s design) down on paper. Step #2: figure out what size and shape you’d like your carpet to be.
That’s pretty much it. Carpetbuzz, a vondrous design-your-own carpet company, does the rest. They can manufacture a custom carpet in about 2 1/2 months and will ship them anywhere. Very cool, though not cheap—a custom carpet runs €150 per square meter plus shipping. Check out the carpetbuzz website for more carpet design examples.

Designed by Philippe Malouin, the Tent Sofa wowed at the 2009 Milan Design Week and is now sold through the Italian manufacturer Campeggi. See it in action in the video below: see more
Wine collections constantly grow and shrink. And so can the modular Puzzle Wine Rack system. These nine-bottle holders can be combined in multiple ways. Diagonally stack them one atop another, link them together like puzzle pieces or come up with your own creative idea after drinking a few of the bottles these wine racks hold. From $59.

For cramped kid and guest rooms the Tradewins Birch Youth Computer Loft Bed will multitask your space. On top: a twin-sized mattress reached by a ladder sided with guard rails. In the middle: a pull-out desk and open shelves ideal for a computer and printer. Around the sides: deep drawers of birch wood. On the bottom: a pull-out trundle bed. All that with a footprint of only 44 x 80 inches.
It’s like getting a stocking full of gifts. Except the gifts are vegetables. And the stocking is an Orka Vegetables Keep Sack.
