Hanging Fern and Moss Wall Art in your dinning room is like planting a vertical jungle on your wall. It’s made from real, living plant material. Yet — at least according to this review of the Fern and Moss Wall Art — it doesn’t require watering and isn’t a magnet for bugs. The large size in the photo above sells for over $1,000 but other options go for as little as $198. That’s not a lot of green.
We pity da fool who doesn’t like the Mr. T Tea For One tea pot and cup set. For more of B.A. Baracus’s mohawked mug (pun!) frowning back at you, consider pairing the tea set with a Mr T teabag holder. Both are creations of one Mr. Lenny Mud, who sells his pop culture-rich housewares on Etsy. Among his collection: a Star wars Storm Trooper leftovers bowl, a Dr. Who mug and the Lionel Ritchie cheese platter pictured below.
MP3 files and compact discs and may have long since replaced the vinyl record in terms of audio technology. But that hasn’t stopped designers from coming up with creative alternative uses for the once mightly LP. People have covered their roofs with music records, determined the time with music records and, now, protected their tables with music records.
That last one comes courtesy of Gama Go and their Record Placemats. Though they look like real vinyl, these placemats are really made from a silicone, dishwasher safe silicone. Music record coasters are are available too. And when you aren’t using them you can store them in a retro record sleve (pic, below). Try doing THAT with an MP3 file. $18 for 2
Go on! Really! It’s okay to be tempted by the Adam & Eve Disappearing Mug. Pour hot liquid in and watch the first couple’s fig leafs disapear. It will shock your coffee guests to Biblical proportions, though you’ll feel snake bitten if you put this mug in the dishwasher. (As with all such mugs, the heat of a dishwasher will eventually ruin the disappearing affect).
