The Samsung Galaxy S2 has been getting a lot of buzz lately, but we can’t help but fall for the next best thing: the Galaxy Nexus. The smartphone is powered by Ice Cream Sandwich, which is the latest version of Android (also known as Android 4.0), making it the must have Samsung of the future.
The Nexus has an amazing and huge 4.65″ HD screen, making it the first of its type on any smartphone. It gives you the exact same resolution that a laptop will. So when you browse Facebook or play on FoxyBingo, the quality will give you the illusion of being on your computer. see more
Can one iPhone have multiple phone numbers? It can with the 3-in-1 SIM Card Case for the iPhone 4 with Back Case.
The primary SIM card remains in its unusual slot inside the iPhone. One or two other SIM cards go inside slots within the case itself. When your phone rings your screen displays which of the SIM card phone numbers your call is coming into. Each number can also be individually managed with its own ring tones and call forwarding options. Very vondrous!
The Motorola FLIPOUT Android Phone is our favorite flip phone so far when in the closed position—the compact, square-like size makes it ideal for slipping into a purse or pocket. That’s especially impressive considering that the the FLIPOUT folds open to reveal a full QWERTY keypad. We also like that the FLIPOUT is available in a variety of colors.
So that’s the lowdown on the look and feel of the FLIPOUT. But what of the technology inside? Features include:
- A 2.8-inch touchscreen display.
- MOTOBLUR functionality that syncs contacts, posts, messages and photos between your phone and your social media accounts. It also finds your phone if it is lost and gives you the ability to remotely wipe your info if it is stolen. see more
Companies developing bluetooth cellphone headsets usually start with their technology and then design a physical housing for it. Motorola took the opposite tact with its Motorola HX520 OASIS, conducting ergonomic studies on what would make for the most comfortable headset and then fitting their technology within that design.
That isn’t to say that the OASIS is technologically inferior. see more
Several mobile carriers offered a version of the HTC Touch Pro 2 phone before AT&T did. But sometimes patience pays off. And so it did in this case.
The AT&T version of the HTC Tilt 2 phone has the best keyboard of all the carrier versions—backlit silver keys with easy-to-see black lettering and a nice springy touch. In the AT&T incarnation of the Tilt 2 users also get a dedicated symbol row and numbers embedded in the keypad (so there’s no longer a need for the Fn key when dialing).
