Your typical three point sandal—the flip-flop—is not at all well designed for getting wet. This is rather surprising given how often people wear them around the beach, the pool and other water-full areas. It also points to one of the two reasons why we love the Reef XS1 sandal—it has a water drainage system. Moisture quickly wicks away from the foot area and out the bottom. Add to that a soft footbed and shock-absorbing midsole and these reef sandals are super comfortable.
So that’s the first reason we are fans of these flip-flops. Here’s the second and more important reason: On the bottom of the Reef XS1 sandals there’s a built-in beer opener! $44-60
The island of Bali is full of tropical forests and gorgeous beaches. It is also full of used tires clogging landfills. Fortunately, at least one company is finding a way to make good use of them: Indosole. The company employs local Balinese to cut off the tread of old tires and then to sew them onto sandals. Look at the bottom of a pair of Indosoles and you can literally see the tire tread and sense the years of road wear they’ve had. see more

Never has a product with such obvious a name come from a company with such a surreal one. The Large Pocket T-Shirt is a creation of the the design company the.. (That’s not a typo; the company is name is spelled t-h-e with a period after it). Putting hugely oversized pens inside the t-shirt’s large pocket isn’t a suggested look, especially in combination with a hugely oversized pocket protector. On its own, however, the t-shirt creates a look we find vondrous. $30
