naked binder

The Naked Binder: It isn’t as X-rated as it sounds. In fact, the opposite of that. These basic binders are smartly hinged and 100% recycled but other than that they are bare. Choose from a brightly colored Project Binder or create your own look.

redmaloo laptop & iPhone sleeves

Before we saw the offerings from German manufacturer redmaloo we associated felt with grade school art projects. Now we know what cool laptop, iPod, iPhone and iPad sleeves can be made from that material.

Redmallo’s laptop sleeves consist of a single layer of high-quality felt easily opened and closed; when open the felt on the side acts as a mouse pad! Their iPhone cases (photo after the jump) are more traditional in design but very artsy looking.

kata sensitivity v backpack

Looking for a daypack designed for holding a both a laptop and SLR camera? There are two we think are especially vondrous. One is the Crumpler Sinking Barge. And the other is the Kata Sensitivity V.

The Crumpler is the larger of the two. But that is it’s only advantage. The Sensitivity V has a thinner profile and the more comfortable straps. We also like the Sensitivity V’s two frontal U shaped flaps—they allow separate access to the top and bottom compartments separately; and since the zippers aren’t load-bearing they won’t break or wear out.

DODOcase for iPad

It is the most vondrous case for an iPad we’ve seen. When it is closed the DODOcase looks like a traveler’s journal or artist’s sketchbook—it betrays no sign that there’s a high tech piece of electronics snuggly secured inside. When open the DODOcase can easily be held in hand or placed down on a table angled towards the user. Each case is made by hand from lightweight bamboo. $50 + shipping
